The Scriptis team is made up of experienced professionals who are continually updating their knowledge and leave nothing to chance. The team is also rounded out by a solid network of seasoned freelancers.


Dominique Côté, C. Tr.

Dominique Côté holds a degree in French studies from Université de Sherbrooke and began working in the language industry in 2001. Over the years, she successively took on a variety of roles, including Technical Writer, Translator, Editor and Coordinator, before assuming full management of the firm.

In 2008 she cofounded Traductions Scriptis, of which she is now the sole owner. Known for her unfailing enthusiasm and a knack for constructive problem-solving, Dominique first and foremost views herself as the leader of a top-flight team of experienced professionals.

Dominique has passed the Canadian Securities Course and is a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ). She is also a member of the Association des conseils en gestion linguistique (ACGL) and the Regroupement des langagiers de l’Estrie.


Marion Poliquin

A skilled wordsmith with an uncanny common sense, Marion excels at getting to the bottom of even the haziest of concepts in order to deliver clear and concise translations.

Marion’s wide experience and expertise with both North America’s Francophone and Anglophone cultures make him an invaluable asset, while his cool and collectedness make him the quiet strength of Scriptis. His sharp wit and critical eye never fail to reveal language issues as well as opportunities for improving the final message.

Marion holds a bachelor’s degree in English studies and has been a professional translator since 2001. His undeniable talent is a pillar of excellence for the team.


Stéphanie HébertC. Tr.

Stéphanie was among the first graduates of the professional translation program at Université de Sherbrooke and began translating professionally in 2006. She has continued to expand her knowledge ever since, capitalizing on every opportunity for professional development.

Both rigorous and methodical, Stéphanie tackles even the toughest texts with characteristic expediency and determination, not to mention her exceptional initiative and contagious optimism.

Stéphanie is a member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec and a key player in the firm’s success.


Cassandra Lefebvre
Administrative Assistant 

As the overseer of our everyday operations, Cassandra is the driving force behind Scriptis. Her responsibilities include receiving and reviewing translation requests, as well as expertly distributing the workload across the team.

Her attentive ear and keen understanding of each individual’s professional circumstances make Cassandra a priceless resource for our clients and collaborators alike. Her energy, proactiveness and insight keep the firm running smoothly day after day.

Cassandra leverages her years of experience in customer service to provide outstanding service and to expertly handle the contingencies that arise on an everyday basis. 


Lucie Hamel 

A former nurse who has also forayed into the field of finance, Lucie redirected her career in 2018 to pursue translation. Her go-getter mentality and drive combine to make her a superb resource for resolving intriguing terminological challenges and devising clear and unambiguous translations. Our clients have quickly come to appreciate her warmth and charisma.

Lucie holds a master’s degree in business administration (finance) and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Université Laval. In addition to having completed the Canadian Securities Course, she taps into her extensive background working for various non-profit organizations in the Magog area.



Pierrette Bézier

A considerate person and lover of numbers, Pierrette masterfully handles our firm’s bookkeeping. With her hallmark professionalism, thoroughness and diligence, Pierrette never fails to answer our questions, or those of our clients.
